Templates documents that can be used to create other documents. They have styles and formatting that can be typed over when a new document is needed.

These can be applied to new, untitled documents. Templates are created from documents. The Templates sub-menu has three choices.

  • Open Template: This opens the templates folder, which is inside the LibreOffice folder. This is where created templates are saved.
  • Save as Template: This opens a dialog, where you can name a new template and save it to a template folder.
  • Manage Templates: This opens the templates dialog where you can edit templates.
