E-mail as OpenDocument Text

The Email as OpenDocument Text function will convert a document in any format to an OpenDocument Text format and attach it to a message in the default e-mail client for the operating system. It will not Save a copy as a new document in ODT and direct you to choose a folder to store it in. It will only attach a copy in the email message.

  1. Click File
  2. Highlight the Send sub-menu
  3. Click E-mail as OpenDocument Text

The default email client will now launch with a new message. The document will be attached in ODT format.
