E-mail as Microsoft Word in LibreOffice Writer

The E-mail as Microsoft Word item in the Send sub-menu of the File menu converts any document to a DOC and attaches it to a new message in the default Email client, such as Outlook and Thunderbird. You will not be asked where you want to store the DOC copy of the document. It will only be attached to the email message.

  1. Click the File menu.
  2. Highlight the Send sub-menu
  3. Click the E-mail as Microsoft Word item

The email client will launch with a new message. The DOC version of the document will be attached to it.
